First Exercise - Gifts and Home Decor

The first exercise: Gifts and Home Decor.

Mechanics:
1. Do at least one of these exercises. You are free to do all of them, if you wish.
2. You may use any medium, draw something and have it scanned, use an image editing software, a technical illustration software, 3d software, do a prototype and take pictures of it. Just make sure we get a JPEG file sent via email. Better images make a better portfolio.
3. Send your outputs to maiko[dot]pascual[at]yahoo[dot]com before September 16 12 noon, and you'll get a prize.

Here's What We Call A Beginning.

It was Wednesday, August 7 2013, when my boss and my team mate accompanied me to endorse a product design and development awareness program to the Tarlac State University.

The project was originally targeting students, preferably freshmen from the College of Architecture and Fine Arts. Luckily, Prof. Pecson was there to comment and present the potentials of including higher year levels and even graduates... An insightful contribution to the project.

We from the first phase of the Local Designers Program are going to launch the project on the 23rd of August, at Robinson's Luisita, Tarlac City.

Note to self: If you're gonna blog, make sure you've got pictures. Jeez this wall of text looks boring.

What It's About

This blog will be about the Tarlac Provincial Designer Program's project on increasing the awareness of audiences in product development and design in general.

In here shall be posted random features, good design sources, updates on the program, and continuations of the advocacy.
